Obito doesn't care about this world. But he won't suicide, because he wants a genjutsu world. More likely he becomes 10 tails Jinchuruki and takes out Madara than suicides. Either way I think Madara will put Obito in genjutsu, rip his Sharingan out of its socket and force him to use Rinne Tensei, which kills Obito and resurrects Madara.
