I think it's about time the Shinju resumes its unfinished business with Rikūdo and humanity since plot has already been invested on how it was transgressed. Madara on the other hand cannot offer any further exposition on why "reality is hell" more than what Obito's story/role has achieved.

i still believe that will happen later on after Madara is dealt with. Something tells me Madara will get trolled rather quickly.

This is a shonen manga about peace, A character like obito who is the main antagonist and parallels the main character will not go down before a change of heart. It's inevitable.

If obito dies a villain, it would contradict the entire manga. Naruto wouldn't of been able to save obito.

On the other hand, Madara is unknown at this point since hes a zombie and isn't relevant to the main character.

I don't mind if he becomes good but I certainly don't want to see him using Rinnei tensei to revive everyone that was killed. Just this for god sake.
