if he does bust out some new tech, it would probably be t/s related. I don't think a Susano'o is incoming for Obito, but maybe it will. He has both MS eyes after all and i'm sure he can control the powers in the eye even though he hasn't had it for almost 20 yrs.

Susanoo is manifested from the casters chakra. Reason Madara was able to cast the Jutsu with no eyes.

A clear connection is established between a Susano'o and the state of their eyes, meaning eyes are usually needed. Madara's abilities were simply made to defy all logic. If eyes weren't needed, then someone wouldn't need a double MS to have one. I mean the material posted starts off as saying "residing in the eyes". That kind of lets one know eyes are usually needed.

Because Obito will have his Chakra drained in new dimensions, he would use his Susanoo to be alive in those dimensions, with Help of sakura too, Maybe they can have byakuugou susanoo together.

Sure it still used chakra, but that Itachi had to push himself to manage the last bit to protect himself.

My question is: What's the point of Obito using Susano'O now?

Frankly, he'd be better off just using his Kumai technique(s) because that seems more useful then a Susano'O.

Susanoo protects the Uchiha, and come from other worlds, It helped Sasuke defy the mugen tsukuyomi, and it will help Obito defy the dimension chakra drainage

Not to mention it will help Sasuke in the other dimensions as well
