Obito was sort of trashy with his abilities

When you analyze all of Obito's powers then look at other people who wielded the same powers. Obito was pretty trashy in comparison.

Usually its not a big deal but the guy was given ALL the best power ups in the series.


Rinnengan - Terrible usage of it and was easily out shined by Madara - Nagato - Sasuke.

Mokuton - Moderate usage of it but was easily out shined by Hashirama, Yamato, and Madara

Kamui - Good usage of it as it is his original ability however he was out shined by Kakashi severly

Juubi - Could barely control or use the juubi properly. Madara and Sage easily out shined him.

Tailed beast Edo - If any other shinobi was given such powers they would have ended the fight pretty easily however Obito struggled to handle a low diff situation.


One thing I will give him praise for is his ability to use Izanagi as he used it perfectly to find the right moment to strike.

Wood Release (Mokuton) was originally Hashirama's Kekkei Genkai so of course, he outshines everyone (including Yamato). Yamato experimented on, as a result, gaining full access to Hashirama's cell without the side effects. Madara experience Hashirama's abilities first hand. It goes back to the original fact, that Obito didn't have the chakra to unleash Wood Jutsu on neither Hashirama or Yamato scale.

Kakashi had one of his eyes and he perfected it. Obito had the other and perfected it. I don't understand your argument.

This obvious. Obito was fighting for control. Juubi wasn't even complete as he was missing portions of the Nine-Tails and didn't absorb the Eight-Tails.

His mokuton is as good as yamato

Not really, he might of been a lil sloppy but he's obito, not kakashi, that being said, he's up there in rank, and if ithere wasn't a story to tell he could of killed a great number of characters numerous times throughout the manga, including every member of team 7. The only 2 people to even touch him post madara finding him and before his rinne fight with the bijuu by his side was literally only minato and torune... that's 2...

Nagato is the best followed by Sasuke who developed and created his rinnegan abilities right on the spot. As for Madara the only rinnegan ability he showed when he was alive is the same as Obito and limbo hengoku. That's it.
Obito was only taught Gedo power, the rinnegan was just for the paths.

Madara got every ability that Obito got but he was excellent with everything. He even used self teleportation with Kakashi's external Kamui
