Obito was Right: Minato Namikaze was a failure

I'll probably take some flack for saying this, but Obito is/was basically right. Minato:

-Allowed Obito/Tobi to free the 9 tails and commence an assault that killed 100s
-Didn't recognize his own former student
-Let his newly born son get captured by a maniac
-Got nearly defeated by a 14 year old child
-Failed to save his wife's life
-Would have failed to save Konoha if not for the 3rd

Also, shots fired.

3, 4, 5) Plot? Yeah, granted. But still just saying the plot makes him look like a pretty bad father. Also, lol @ sealing an evil demon fox into his newborn child, and ensuring he grew up with no parents.

6) Hasn't shown in the anime yet but Hiruzen led the counter-assault and saved a lot of the village from Kurama's rampage... Before Minato got there. Without Hiruzen the village would have been destroyed period. Minato dropped the ball, fanboys can't deal w/ it.

For the sake of argument, I'll point out that probably half or more of the alliance ultimately dies in the fight vs. Obito. The other half...

Gets caught in Infinite Tsukuyomi and is currently being turned into Zetsu's from the inside out

Naruto ultimately failed to save Neji, failed to save the alliance from IT, only survived IT due to Sasuke's quick thinking and got utterly wrecked by Edo Madara's meteors. Failing to save the entire 4th division, which was then wiped out and killed thousands.

Oh yeah, and Naruto didn't arrive in time to save Konoha. They only survived cause Nagato got PNJ'd.

Obito isnt just some random kid you know. I mean Madara trained him he has Kamui, etc. Its amazing that Minato did so well given the circumstance tbh.

3-5. He believed that his son was the Child of Prophecy that Jiraiya spoke of and knew that one day the Masked Man would return and Naruto would need the bijuu's help to defeat him. And seeing as they were pierced by Kurama to protect Naruto, they would have died either way and left Naruto an orphan.

Its true Obito would have Schooled Monkey face a million ways to the next century, You couldn't even calculate the butt hurt he would received even with two super computers.

Okay back to the point Minato saved the Village period you have nothing that can prove this otherwise I dare say not even Itachi would help you in this scenario, Obito was practically untouchable and was controlling the strongest thing to come out of the So6p rear end. Minato was able to see through Kamui in only a few clashes and created a Counter Plan for it(Also even if Hiruzen could do the same would he have the Speed, Reflexes and abilities to counter it?) Not only that he foresaw the future that Obito would be a great threat and basically gave the World its hope by making Naruto a Jin.

And to counter your bad father crap he implanted his and Kushina's Chakra inside Naruto thus effectively Naruto was never alone and even in the future they helped Naruto with his life struggles because of Minato's quick thinking deal with it Minato was not a failure.

let me address the rest of that list

- Was ambushed in a secure location, [by someone with a HAX and Mysterious jutsu], who had his son strapped with explosives which would have killed everyone there except for the attacker due to the HAX jutsu. He does the right thing by taking the explosives far using FTG

- Obito was 'confirmed' dead by Kakashi and Rin, and by all means should be. We know thanks to Kabuto different dna can cause problems for sensors [karin having trouble figuring who obito was], so Minato would not be able to sense who the chakra was add this to the fact Obito just activated the sharingan prior to death, [which Minato would have never known if it wasnt for Kakashis eye], and the voice very plausible

- As explained, he was ambushed by a very well thought out attack, in a location ONLY obito could have accessed the way he did

- LoL i already addressed this nonsense

- Again the ambush caused the separation which resulted in the Kyuubi extraction, however even then he managed to arrive at the distance in enough time to save her being crushed, [Obito praised him again for this]

- If i remember correctly Minato not only stopped a tailed beast bomb, he transported Kurama to a far location, his wife helped secure Kurama and Minato sealed him with the unique 8 signed seal.

Sarutobi did what he was supposed too, but Minato stopped the kyuubi




Minato isnt even my fav character but if you are going to trash talk use facts ''nearly defeated..'' haha
