Obito Uchiha, most individuals look into his flash backs and only look into it bluntly without meditating. It's funny how many devoted readings of Kishimoto can overlook things in a sense. What Obito will was is to protect the one whom he love, and that was Rin. He had the same will as Naruto had when he felt the same will to protect someone he loved. And with that. We can compared Obito to Naruto in many ways cause most of them have to same qualities. I view Kishimoto as protraying this as different paths Naruto can go to. For example; he could have been just like Sasuke. If he would have had the hatred that Sasuke has for the village for resenting him. This can be put into Obito's perspective. But it's more of a larger scale then anything.

Obito loved Rin. He wanted to protect her. And seeing that he could not fulfill that he trusted Kakashi. After the whole flash back scene on how Obito was manipulated and brainwashed as a young kid. We see his love of his life. Died in front of his eyes by the friend he trusted. And with that hatred of seeing his loved on died. It made him stronger.

That's why he's with Madara. That's why he does not care anymore. Nothing's driving him. He's gonna have a depressing downfall it's not even funny. It's sad, to see such a development wasted. Obito had so much to offer. And yet he was portrayed in a egotistic manner.

It's funny how people view other character in such a bland manner it's not even funny. Every character is a part of Kishimoto that brings life into a story. And every ninja has there own ninja way that makes them stronger in a way. We too have are own drive that makes us stronger. We live in troubled times where living in this world is tough. But we have friends and family to help us. We all have a personal connection to Naruto. We can view our lives and compare it there. Kishimoto is a geniuse. I love his writings and I'll continue to read it! Don't you agree?!

Methinks you have no idea what the f*ck "friendzone" really means.

What is quite possibly one of the worst places a guy could ever be in if you like someone. It doesn't matter the situation, once you're in, you feel like you're in a cage.

It consists of a multitude of possible emotions that you will succumb to. Mostly jealousy, defeat, hopelessness and a strange sense of knowing that your aspirations are an impossibility. You'll constantly know that the person you like will not like you in the same way. But for some reason, you're still friends with her. You feel like you can get her back, but it's not gonna happen.

And it's worse when they tell you about their significant other/crush/boyfriend. You might see them walk further away from you every day. You become a cushion, having to watch them with the person they THINK is perfect for them. But deep down, you know it's not true. But they think they are, and you have to acknowledge it as a reality.

It's hell on earth, guys.
I'm in the friend zone. An ever-so confining area of regret, jealousy and defeat. I won't be able to get her.

Truth be told. I look at different possibilities when I make my thread. I don't want to be blink or frank. Or say the same thing over and over. When I make threads I look into it in a different way.

Well...I think it was more than just Rin dying that changed him completely, the fact that he was betrayed by his best friend whom he entrusted her to and entrusted his powerful Sharingan to, who also promised him he would protect her. When that promise turned out to be nothing more than a lie, his entire ideology changed to "the world is full of nothing but lies".

As far as the friend zone goes, I believe Rin actually liked Kakashi, but she was respectful of Obito and would have gotten with him regardless of her feelings, but thats just what I think.

He did get friendzoned AT THE MOMENT (could have easily changed) while he was crushed by the rock, but yes you were right. Obito became Madara's follower after he saw Kakashi kill the women he loved.
