Obito was mention in Naruto Part 1???

In one chapter of the Naruto Part 1, when Itachi and Kisame went to Konoha, kakashi told Asuma and Kurenai that he was waiting for Obito loke some sort of secret code. But in the Manga he just says Sasuke instead of Obito, then why was it changed in the Anime ???

Kakashi mentioned Obito during the bell test (not by name) mentioned obito during the hokage funeral by name (if thats in the manga) and appeared in kakashis team pic after he lost to itachi and in chapter 16s cover page with the rest of team minato in kakashis team photo
