Because obito had everyone convinced he was madara...? He even called the man who helped him, during the uchiha massacre(obito), madara and claimed madara was an invincible immortal. Why in god's name would he go take on someone he just described like that? Seeing as, by obito's admission, itachi knew little about him, itachi had no reason to believe he wasn't actually madara. The guy was pretty convincing. Lmao, what a stupid argument.

So, why didn't obito kill itachi though? Itachi was stopping him from going into konoha. Was spying on his organisation. Was stopping him from getting to sasuke and naruto. Yet he didn't so much as send an assassin after him... Obito must really be a man of his word; Just ask madara, right? Lol

Obito already knew Itachi was dying. "I'm sure his mind is made up since he doesn't have much time left" about Itachi fighting Sasuke. Obito wanted the fight to happen.

The same can be said why Itachi never took out Tobi even though he knew how much of a threat he was to the world though.

The RTN movie made it clear why. Obito would have no incentive to fight him, he'd just leave the scene. Therefore, it'd be of no use for Itachi to confront him anyway. Obito can just kamui away.

This isn't the best excuse here. Itachi was in Akatsuki at the age of 13 and died at 21. So, 8 years. Eight years, Obito's plan was on a slight halt due to the other Uchiha. It would have made more sense for Obito just to kill Itachi, get another missing-nin in his place who would be for Akatsuki, and then to just kamui into Konoha himself and grab Sasuke. He didn't, because he obviously could not for whatever reason.

Obito by far wasn't afraid of Itachi, however, he obviously was at the very least cautious of him. This is pretty normal for any intelligent shinobi.

The counter to izanagi thus he knows izanagi

You can't give a character an ability they've never had.

Obito disagrees with you by the way, you need the powers of Uchiha AND Senju...

How is it that just because someone has a counter for a technique that means they can use said technique? That's retarded.
