Either way, rematch or not, to say "Minato outsmarted Tobi" isn't exactly true. Tobi was simply careless in thinking the moment he touched Minato, it was game over. If Minato had really outsmarted or "owned" Tobi so easily, he never would've told Naruto that Tobi saw through everything he did.

Couldn't have been that long seeing as how he was 13-14 when Kakashi Gaiden happened, and he was 14 when he fought Minato.

Allow me to refer to my old thread concerning the misconceptions of the Konoha Attack.
