The battle begins at long distance somewhere in a desert.

Obito still has MS and Rinnegan.

I dont think Obito can reach Gaara, without S/T. as far as I know Tobi cant fly and summons are strictly forbidden so Gaara takes this.

sand isnt a jutsu,it's a tool,sand coffin,sand burial etc are jutsus. How will obito get inside gaara's defence?,gaara will keep killing him until his izanagi runs out,or gaara just buries him,he can use izanagi all he wants down therexd. Gaara wuth gourd sand takes this,a dessert?wellxd

well he has the physical endurance to stand konans bombs, suigetsus sword and rasengan point blank. gunbai can reflect attacks. and he has fireballs. but he isnt that good in running speed and ranged power. you didnt restrict the rinnegan so assuming he can use the paths he rapes

obito was one of the worst ever uchihas. He's overall not a very good ninja except for those insane jutsus like s/t techniques and gedo maze.

Gaara wins low diff. Gaara traps him in a desert coffin, Obito wastes his sharingans doing izanagi getting out, then he gets put in a desert coffin. More blood gets added to Gaara's sand.

If you place gaara against konohamaru w/o his sand he still wins. Because he has his daddy's gold.lol

Obito only has one rinnegan, so its my assumption that he cant use all the paths. Much like uchihas cant use all MS techs with one eye. Also this may be why obito didnt block naruto's rasengan to the face with preta path. But this is only a thought i had.
