First of all yes i know that there are secrets yet to be discovered about the sharingan and the Uchiha but still.

So we see Madara telling Obito that it was as if he had slipped away from the rock. He had found him in the underground passage next to the rock. This type of technique would be or really is kamui - an ability we'd expect from the mangekyou sharingan. But Obito didn't awaken that until he witness Kakashi kill Rin.

hmmm... that seems likely but could you post the page where it tells that? Obito didn't seem like he knew any Doton elements at the time. And wouldn't Madara had known of Earth release? His tone/choice of words can't help but make you think that he had no clue.

Then again i just find it a bit too lucky for a young Uchiha just like Madara needed to just end up in his underground passage.

Ohh Could be, I doubt it though, it seems more plausible to me that he used an early method of his intangibility jutsu, it's like Obito's no1 Jutsu.

O ok cool....they were in a cave in the first place. Could it be madara was watching the whole fight and saw obito awaken his sharingan? Then decided to save him from being crushed?

FOR GOD SAKES Madara used a FIGURE OF SPEECH! He didn't imply that Obito LITERALLY slipped through the rocks! He implied that it was a stroke of luck, a miracle! And Obito wasnt too lucky, he lost half his body!!

I disagree with the thought of him using an Earth Release tech though. He was fully ready and accepted his fate. Why would he then try and use an Earth element to even escape after giving away one of his beloved mangekyou?

Well it was implied. Relevant or not, his choice of words did have an impression. Not too lucky yes, but then again he was still alive... although barely.
