I dont know...it just seems that his vortexes have gotten huge ever since his mask got crushed, and now he's using it to throw weapons? this is something entirely new. he would bring people from his other dimension but the size wasnt any bigger than when he sucked them in.

wait so youre saying that he can actually control the area that gets warped? i thought it was just his eye that did the warping

Hmm basically when Obito warps the area in front of his face and then around his whole body also warps around with him and when he's gone it returns back to normal. Using this knowledge Obito was able to make that massive fire spiral. I haven't noticed it being any bigger then usual, maybe because his mask is off he has more vision. But it seems the same to me, also kishi wanted that fire tech to seem epic because his mask was off.

I 100% agree I don't know why he cut it against minato let it grow and cut it again.

Maybe he just prefers it short. A more logically answer is he was trying to change his identity and tbh it worked. Kisame didn't know he was the masked man from the past with long hair because his hair was different and his personality was wayy different.

Yeah, his hair was long in the cave, then short for his next timeline appearance, then long again for the next one. Anyway, nice summary.
