My theory of how this happened is when Kakashi and Rin left the place where Obito was being crushed by the rocks Madara (who we know was still alive according to him surviving battle with Hashirama) found Obito or was tracking him because he knew of the power his sharingan has (You say bizarre how he knew?) (well Itachi told sasuke that he knew they would have the same eyes) anyways Madara rescued him from being crushed by the rocks completely took him to a place of healing and played his mind like how we saw on 599 Obito surely had hatred building up towards kakashi for you know achieving ranks at a faster pace than Obito and how Rin was in love with kakashi and I'm sure the whole Rin dying thing must have crushed his heart and all that which made him hate Kakashi more for not having kept Rin alive. I do believe Obito told kakashi to take care of her I think not ao sure but Madara Played Obito's mind and trained him before the time that madara died and then that's when the attack of the nine tails triggered by tobi/obito happened because i am sure some time passed after they thought Obito had died in which he was trained by Madara who as we can see on the manga now is a complete beast so that kind of progress to Obito's abilities does not really surprise me considering how fast Naruto progresses. That's part of my theory but I want to hear some of yours so feel free to explain me yours :ice:
