First take a look at this page we've all likely seen before.
Now, just take a look at the text written, "At the end of childhood, the two have become one" and "To change despair into hope"
Now think about Obito and Kakashi and how they pretty much pulled at 180.
I'm probably over-thinking things but I can't help but feel like this page has dual meanings like, at the end of Obito's childhood (and his death) he becomes one with Madara / Zetsu (maybe even Oro) and instead of changing their situation from despair into hope, his life (Obito's that is) was changed from hope to despair.
Also, looking back I find it funny how the one dude is like "You're still alive!" and while I know he's talking to Kakashi, I can't help but laugh.
All said, while I do believe Obito became Tobi, I also think Madara was once Tobi as well (possibly it was Izuna, but I won't even go into that and it isn't really important as this thread was about Obito). I believe in the "Tobi is a symbol" thing and that Tobi is whoever wears the mask. Tobi is no one but can literally be anyone. It really is like Batman when you think about it. Bruce Wayne became Batman (of all things) because he feared Bats, while Tobi on the other hand became "Madara" the most feared Uchiha.
