For some reason obito just can't kill kakashi, I don't know why I think it's plot

According to obito it doesn't matter if he lives so why not just kill him? It's defiantly plot kishi wants to use kakashi's kamui later on in this fight

It's probable. Without that Kamui, no one stands a chance against Obito. Or maybe he'll find some other use for it, who knows?

Yh kishi is saving kakashi for something, instead of slicing kakashi why not just kill him there and then, obvious plot shield. Keeps it interesting though

I mean that's what I find surprising. I would've expected Obito to treat Kakashi like any other obstacle to his plans, but I think he was actually trying to avoid fatal confrontation with Kakashi.

Obito's actions lead to the thinking that he does not want to fight Kakashi.
