Yeah, that led to huge problems. The catalyst for Nagato's villainy was that he saw his parents murdered as a small child, he grew up as a war orphan living under an utter tyrant, saw his puppy get blown up, and was forced to kill his best friend.
Obito's catalyst was that he saw his crush get killed.
There's a huge difference between Nagato and Obito's pain.

To be in a situation where, Konan is about to die and the only way out is to kill your best friend... That's real insane. Even if he didn't actually kill him, having your best friend being impaled right infront of you. On the weapon you carry is intense. If this doesn't give you the right to be evil, complain about the world, and what not... Dunno what does.

you already know what they went through (specially nagato). in the konoha invasion, he said/claimed that he is a GOD and after seeing what he can do, i actually believed him for a couple of chapters. he was a beast .

obito/nagato's reaction to what they went through is the opposite of being a "cry baby" (not weak minded), a weak minded/cry baby would probably kill himself if he was in their place.

His LOVE get killed by one of his loved ones. Nagato tried to bring change in the world. He new what he was getting himself into and when his friend got killed he *****ed and moaned. What did he think he was invincible.
