As parts of himself are being torn apart, we see that his friends are also being torn from him, such as Kakashi and Minato.

I think this signifies that he still cares for all of them, he just wants to get his plan done so he can bring them all
back and live in peace.

And in the end, he wanted to put them all back together, not just Rin:

Some people say that it was actually only rin.

Because when the rin part was about to be torn he got a hold of himself.

Also you can see the extra panel and zoom in for rin showing more concentration.

He only cares about Rin, otherwise he wouldn't sticky bomb his Sensei in the face.

I think it's more symbolism, like he's holding on to the past and that photo is being used to symbolize that.

If he truly cared for his old team, he wouldn't be trying to wipe them all out, with everyone else.

No, I think Kishi wanted to show that, Obito is going to die(Juubi is going to control him), if you observe above manga panel closely, especially the right middle part, you will see that, first Obito is torn apart and then Kakashi, and then Rin, but Rin's image is shown twice, emphasizing her importance for Obito..

You miss the point.

He's only trying to kill them so he can activate IT and bring them back in the end.

What does that have to do with the Juubi taking over? What's your point? Why would it show the whole team and not just Rin then?

When Obito makes the perfect world, he intends on bringing back everyone.

Not just Rin.

You telling me if rin was alive now he would be trying to kill her like he is kakashi and minato?

Highly doubt it man. Seems to be mainly about rin, he is saying f*ck you and your trash to kakashi and minato.

Kill them in real life to bring them back in illusion... To me that makes no sense... That plan contradicts itself. Kill them so he can be with them... Why not simply move on? Obito loved Rin but hasn't moved on. Sasuke loved his older brother but moved past his hate of the world to protect it. Obito could learn a lot from Sasuke's path.

to be honest Sasuke would have become another Obito if he didnt have the chance to meet Itachi once again.

Naruto like characters can not let go and are to naive. Naruto just walks a path of light and obito walks a path of darkness. So the things obito is not letting go of in terms of darkness is rin must be alive and this world must end and the things naruto is not letting go of is sasuke is not a criminal we will get back together and this world will not end.

Naive dumbasses if you ask me.

Let's put Kakashi and Rin in opposite positions, Kakashi being dead and Rin being alive, you think he'd really be doing the same things that he'd be doing right now to his other teammates? No, because Rin is the only thing he cares about. To him nothing else matters, Minato and Kakshi are just basically remnants of his old team and nothing else.

Juubi taking over ,means Obito loosing his feelings, not only worry, but all feelings that he had when he was part of team, that's why entire team is shown, well its just my interpretation.

He sacrificed himself to save Kakashi your argument is invalid,he would have done the same thing.

I agree, he was for a while. But that event was out of Obito's control, thank Kishi... If Obito interfered in that encounter I fear to wonder what might have happened.

Not really... More like Sasuke would have become another Madara as Tobirama said.

Sasuke just wanted revenge on the leaf for the betrayal of the Uchiha and (later on) the suffering they forced upon Itachi he was very foolish who just threw his anger and anything and everything but when he teamed up with Itachi against Kabuto he finally started thinking for himself.

Obito on the other hand is just flat out broken. Because Kakashi killed Rin he wanted to destroy the whole world and bring Rin back to life, Sasuke was foolish when he was evil but currently Obito is even more foolish as he just can't understand the reality of what has happened and what will happen.

There is/was a bigger correlation between Sasuke and Madara.
