He hasn't disintegrated very much yet. If he used Izanagi straight away he could probably live long enough to get some sort of healing from Naruto/Sakura. I think the wound is also right next to his hashirama cells.

Yes he hasn't but the point is to prove that the stick is the same stick Madara used on Tobirama and Hashirama as they began to crumble too, but since they're edo not completely. Obito can't use Izanagi for the same reason Tobirama couldn't FTG away or even move.

Pretty much the thread title. He could survive by using Izanagi, but I doubt the plot will let him do so. Thinking about it, he could have used it when he was having his bijuu ripped out of him, or when black zetsu was taking over his body. Maybe he could have used it to blind Madara's rinnegan, although I don't know if it can be used with a rinnegan.

He can't. First off, he shouldn't even have anymore chakra to even use a forbidden jutsu or another Kamui since it took pretty much everything he and Sakura had just to save Sasuke; in fact Kishi plot hole Sakura's chakra since she stated to be low on chakra back when she was trying to save Naruto since she used her seal chakra to heal the alliance with Tsunade.

Second, Izanagi must be activated before any life threating injuries since it will not change anything that happened to the user prior to activating the jutsu; we see this when Danzo's shirt was find after Izanagi but when it was messed up outside of Izanagi then it appeared the same in the jutsu.

Obito was left weakened after losing the Bijuu's and couldn't move then Madara summoned the Gedo Mezo out of Obito. Obito survived the Bijuu extraction due to having the Gedo Mezo but when he lost that, he was going to die until BZ combined with him and kept him alive. Obito didn't know he was going to have the Bijuu extracted from him so he had no reason to use Izanagi at that time and then he was to weak to move to use it before Madara took out the Gedo Mezo. BZ had control over Obito for a good while and if he left Obito body then he would die and Izanagi wouldn't let Obito survive from that.

Naruto never saved Obito as in keeping him alive, he only prolonged Obito's death. Nothing besides becoming a Bijuu host again can save Obito and none of the Bijuu will want to be sealed inside him so Naruto isn't going to force them. Obito also is not going to want to be on life support which is what he will be on if he relies on Naruto to constantly keep him alive but Naruto can't do that all of the time due to him having his own life, might be sleeping, away on a mission.

Are you sure? I thought that those were just stronger versions of the black rod that Pain used. The bones that Kaguya's using are completely different, aren't they?



Well he's not dead yet. He could use it to stop his body disintegrating. He also had plenty of time to use it before the bone hit him.

They're in a heavy Gravity, weaving hand signs would be hard and slow plus that would only save him there when he's still dying. Nothing is going to save him unless they can get the Gedo Mezo from Kaguya and seal it in Obito but I don't see that happening since he's about to die right now and they need to seal Kaguya to beat her, if they would pull out the Gedo Mezo and other Bijuus then their strategy wouldn't revolve only sealing her.

No only can heal the wounds Obito will take, the bone will turn Obito body to dust and the White Zetsu part of his body replaced the part that was crushed from the boulder in Kakashi Gaiden so if he lose that then he still dies. Obito have no way of living unless Kishi BS something like having the Edo Hokage's show up and Tobirama throws a kunai to hit the bone then FTG it away or have Minato FTG it away.
