We all know that Obito space/ time jutsu is base on him sending his body to the other dimension.A doujutsu user will be able to detect the body part that is transmitted to the other dimension and other body part that remain the real world by their chakra and internal organ properties.

Why does he send parts to the other dimension instead of his whole body? Because he doesn't need too.

If a thousand needles is fired at him, he'd probably just use Kamui a thousand times, sending only those parts that are just about to be hit, and returning them the instant after. He is that precise with Kamui.

He can be seen still. Konan vs Obito when she used explosive tags to trap him. His body was still visible but the entirety of his body was intangible.
