if you use this logic romeo and juliette are stupid characters too, I think it was more the fact that he felt betrayed/broken hearted/physically in pain all at once as his body was still so weak from his death and revival experience and besides in his mind he isn't shitting on the world he's making it better along with madara they're doing this for themselves and all the other losers in the shinobi world. Sasuke on the hand while he has the motive (clan massacrer) but he fails in the fact that he's not trying to accomplish anything he's just trying to kill and be a **** to the only people who ever treated him like a human. He should have rode obitos ass about everything sharingan/uchiha related and he might have figured out that he could achieve rinnegan (rebirth) sooner than he's about to (assuming this is what oro is going to show him)

I will tell you some examples. First Troya. One men started a whole war because he has stolen a women he loved, and ruined his whole kingdom because of a women.

So dont tell me the series Spartacus is lame, its one of the best that was made in the past years, and do you guys now he it started? Yes spartacus wife was killed, and because of revange he went against Rome( a world might), but nobody seems to care about his reason. I still don't see Obito as a bad guy villain. He really just thinks Madara's plan is the only way to achieve peace and it's not anything more to it than this imo.
People are looking for the reason Obito "turned bad" but don't realize it's just as simple as Naruto believing in his way to achieve peace, Obito has his way

Well, maybe you're looking at this from the wrong angle:
Obito being a despicable loser might not be such a bad thing. If kishimoto wants to make the statement,
that "villains are despicable losers, and the desire to destroy arises from hopelessness, from losing
faith in the world, and not feeling anything for anyone anymore", then he's really hitting the mark.

It would fit thematically, explaining why Naruto absolutely does not want to sever the last bond Sasuke has.
