Maybe he wanted to save sakura because he wasn't able to save rin and didn't want another one of naruto's comrades dying rather than preventing madara getting his other rinnegan

No no no... see foolish boy. It wouldn't of mattered! If he teleported away Madara would of followed him, and he would of potentially killed Sakura too so that would be +2 for Madara. If Obito stayed and teleported Sakura away, he could save her, and perhaps he has an idea to trap Madara in the other dimension... But even so If Obito teleported out Madara would of followed... Idk how Madara (being Half the man he use to be lol, literally) would of fought off Naruto and Sasuke and Normal Kakashi..

EDIT: Funny how Obito Kamuied Sakura without touching her.... didn't know he could do that...
He needs to touch them to bring them into the dimension, not being them out, such as the Danzo fight, he didn't touch Karin or Sasuke but he still brought them out...

What? If he didn't save Sakura it would make absolutely zero sense for his character at this point. It's the same decision Naruto would have made. And people call this "plot"? :vincent:

The real question is, why did he really do it? He has no realistic reason to care for Sakura right? Don't tell me he just reverted to his old caring self like that, in a snap.

I guess Zetsu (Ex Machina) could have prevented him from teleporting himself or something.
He doesn't have the strength to move through his self Kakashi had to help him get in there but he could have used Sakura as a distraction

The first thought that goes through the human brain in dangerous situations is self preservation.... logically Obito would have Kamui'd himself, then thought about doing it to Sakura.. plot is the only resolution we could come up with in accordance to Obito's choice

Nonsense. It's completely logical to save other people before yourself, if you aren't a coward, that is.

It has nothing to do with being a coward. Obito said it himself Madara would be unstoppable with both Rinnegan. So it would actually be more logical on his part. I understand that it's his character development or something but wow wrong move imo.

No it wasn't. He gave the world another hope by keeping Sakura alive. He has made his motive to protect his comrades like any Kage and he entrusted Naruto and Sasuke to defeat Madara.
Even if he didn't let Sakura out, he knew that Sakura would be killed and Madara would get his rinnegan back at any cost. He avoided a life to be sacrificed.
Maybe Obito couldn't teleport himself back due to his immobility, he could not warp himself.
This is not a mistake. But well analysed decision of Obito. :)

It's stupid to risk the fate of the world for one person, as now Madara as both rinnegan and black zetsu as both Kamui Sharingan.

It's the obvious decision good characters always make in this situation. It's the same decision Naruto himself would have made.
