Obito looks like a Mini Gedo Mazo!

Obito's body, which was attached to Senju Hashirama's artificial body, with Hashirama's original cells in it, reacted to the awakening of the Managekyo Sharingan! Obito's Sharingan was implanted on the side with the half Senju body!

Why did this awakening cause such a weird Mokuton reaction? With the black rods too?


If the Gedo Mazo is the Juubi's old vessel(not confirmed), why does it have similar, if not the same, broken Mokuton branches growing from its back? The Mazo has also shown its ability to create the black rods!!!


How did Obito portray the same characteristics of the Gedo Mazo?! Was it because of the mixture of the Mangekyo Sharingan and Mokuton? He looks exactly like a human sized Gedo Mazo!

How can the Gedo Mazo or the Juubi be similar to this? What can we learn from it?

Not only did he look like it, he sounded like it too with all the "WAAAOOOOOOH!"-ing going on.

That said, there's not a lot of hard evidence to go on here to lock down a definite connection. Interesting though.

Zetsu is made with the gedo mazo.
Obito has zetsu implanted in him.
MS on top of it.
Hatred and other negative emotions, seem to make sage related types
(dojutsu users, jincs and such) go out of control.
Obito has all of these things.

Didnt he stab konan with a black rod as well?

That zetsu stuff seems to be able to allow creation of black rods.
Probably because it has origin from the mazo itself.

I dont think it was! I think it might be a man made substitute, and the real body is still Chibaku Tenseid inside the Moon!
