Obito is the prophesied child!

Obito is the child of destruction, the one with great power in his eyes. Im not going to provide scans as im too lazy for that but it is heavily influenced that he is Naruto's parallel, opposite. Even in the anime intro if you noticed Naruto walking up to him, it's just seems like the light vs darkness.
