I dont think that Obito always planned to betray Madara in the aspect of not completing the Moon's Eye Plan. I think he wants to do it still. He has killed TOO MANY PEOPLE ALREADY in order to bring this plan to fruition for it to be a fake. And he personally killed ALL JINCHURRIKI just to get their bijuu. So he did all this just to kill the Gedo?

IT WOULD BE EASIER TO "KILL" THE GEDO IF THE GEDO DIDNT HAVE ALL THE BIJUU'S CHAKRA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Wait a minute when did he personally kill all of the Jinchurriki I thought it was the Akatsuki as a group if I am not mistaken Deidara and Sasori captured the 1 Tails and then they all killed Gaara when they extracted the Bijuu and Tobi/Obito wasn't there for the extraction at the time
