he's never shown the ability to use the bijuu without thier jinchuriki host corpses. They are bound to the gedo mazo, and from there the chakra was seperately sealed into the jinchuriki's, but it hasn't been shown that after being bound to the gedo mazo that they can manifest without thier host's physical forms.

When you think about it, why would he have needed them to be jinchuriki in the first place if he didn't need the corpses.

Edo jin are more versatile, but for just raw power, he could use the Bijuu

Obito needed the corpes because edo tensi is more efficient as it gives the edo unlimited chakra, Obito could have used Outer path and just summon the jinchuriki, but it would drain his chakra significantly

All of this means nothing, in the end Obito still almost gets killed by kakashi and he is now being thrown away like a piece of trash by Madara. Ya he sounds like a true winner. Man if obitio was really all that great then he would not have needed help from Kabuto and Nagato. Without them he would not even have gotten anywhere.

Plus obito has the first hokage cells and extra boost from zetsu, so he should have way more power. The fact is no matter how much power he has, kakashi is still better in skill. That is why he is going to die like trash.
