Obito is so overrated...

Obito is really hard to judge, it's kinda frustrating. Besides Minato's unque speed and Kakashi's luck of having Obito's left eye, there seems to be no other ways to counter it. That's what makes him a decent enough opponent for Madara and Hashirama.

I think we should just wait for the Kakashi vs Obito fight (a battle without Kamui), and see how well he can use the Rinnegan to make a final conclusion.

As for Minato, I think Obito is stronger than him now.

i really liked the way you think but Minato speed will beat Obito's kamui and Minato will find a way to hit him with full force

In close Combat, Minato would have been under genjutsu fairly easily. No, I am pretty sure Obito was 14 - 15 at that time physically as he grew rather fast after his fusion with the cells.

In the current time, Kakashi is 30 years old. Naruto is now 15 or 16 years old. 30-15 is 15 years old. It's safe to say that Obito is around the same age as Kakashi.

So when Obito fought Minato, he was most likely 15 years old. He was also controlling Kurama, which took away his ability to use genjutsu on Minato. Still, Obito lost because he was too cocky and Minato outsmarted him. I don't think that feat should be downplayed.

I agree with shelke, for once.
Minato was powerful, but he was nowhere in the league of Hashirama or Madara.
Obito is weaker than Hashi and Madara, but he has become stronger than Minato now.

Like it or not, he is strongest person alive period.

Pretty much this. Out of all people alive, he's the strongest. And out of all people alive and dead, he's the third - after Hashirama and Madara.

Edit: Or maybe, just maybe, the fourth - after Nagato. But that's it.
