U fail to realise 10000000000 years of fake illusionary peace doesnt count . . . . . . real life time only counts. Just like how a person high on LSD may think he had spend last 8 years as President of USA and wake up to find he's in a hospital with broken limbs for 3 days.

The Sage would not have been immortal, but he could live a very, very long time within the illusion of IT.

If I managed to hypnotize you, and you lived and experienced 500 years of life in your head, but only a second in real life, how would that be any different than living 500 years?

Except my body will especially my brain would shutdown and probably go in a coma from the sheer volume of data to process in such a short time ....... Well the only difference will be that I am not actually or really living, my biological and physical needs are same, but most importantly I can not think, i have no choice and i can not truly alive ..... just a living corpse. Doesnt matter if i dream of eating 500 years worth of food and drink, each moment of real life time would make body hungrier and thirstier and will perish if the needs are not made. Over that I can not choose whom to love whom to wed .... and finally there wont be any children and the human race as a whole would become extinct. etc etc etc

Anyway, I still stand by my point, if everything is perceived as real then there's really nothing wrong with the plan at all, just the means Obito & Madara have used to execute this plan.

Agreed, Obito wants to achieve heaven......and i'm sure the illusion will be like the matrix....so think if neo had never took the red pill he would've lived his life thinking what he believes to be real world inside matrix.
i made a thread about this aswell, i think Obito will use creation of all things to turn that illusion into reality.

and to all the ppl saying that obito is going around the wrong way to achieve peace ,lolz obito went to kage summit to ask for the jins and if the kages weren't so selfish there would've been no need for war.......Obito only asked for 2 ppl(Naruto and Bee) and in return he offered heaven....but NO the kages wanted it hard eh.....so in ya face

in all honesty, if I was in his position, I probably would have done the same thing......if not for peace, then for sake of some adventure and excitement.
