Hello.
So while I myself am fully expecting Obito to die at this moment now that he's withering away, one possibility has still occurred to me and I'd like to hear your thoughts on it.

But before I get into that I want to quick point out something that perhaps some of you may have missed.
In order to use this Gravity method, Kaguya had to teleport Naruto/Co. with her to this new land.
Take note that there's no more Snow/Ice and before Sakura/Obito were standing on the snow and they get teleported to stand on the Pyramids.

Next, I believe that this may not exactly be Kaguya increasing the Gravity herself but perhaps these Mini-Pyramids are the secret of Kaguya's Gravity technique.
Everyone present there being affected by it were all on top of the Pyramids. In fact the whole floor was made out of pyarmids like a field.

Personally I think that this is probably less than 5 times the normal gravity of earth, probably 2 times.

Anyways on to Obito now.
So yes it seems very apparent now that Obito is about to become Ashes.

But Naruto isn't too far behind him. There's a good chance that Naruto may be able to move towards Obito and then Naruto could technically save him using his Right Hand's power.
Just like another someone who was guaranteed death about to become Ashes.

Of course he'd be only delaying the inevitable but they still need a way to travel through dimensions.
That and it's about time he goes out.

One thing is though that Naruto has already used that ability on him once, we don't know how many times he can use it on the same person.

Anyways it was just a thought I had and would like to hear your opinion on it.

Thanks for reading, Vega

I think his time is genuinely up, it would be a bit anti-climatic for Naruto to save him again. :|

i went out for a walk earlier and a thought came to me. that gedo arm is still floating around somewhere. maybe he'll attach himself to it and try another rt? madara showed him that rod sticking out in 606 and told him to use it for six paths jutsus. i think thats in the gedo.
unless obito warps away or plot restricts him from being saved.

i also thought that maybe hamura is the reaper and obito will meet him, like how obito thought madara was a shinigami in the cave. foreshadow.

I think it's most probable that Obito will die.

The only scenario I could see where he could survive is if Sasuke's Rinnegan ability is activated. The Ash Bone looks like it crumbles from the end opposite of where it pierces the target, somewhat like a fuse. When the bone fully crumbles into the target, he or she will be fully destroyed. If Sasuke can swap places with the bone using his Rinnegan, Naruto may be able to get to him in time.

When I saw the pyramids in the gravity-dimension, the first thing that I thought of was Magnetite:

While I'm certain Obito will die, I'm sure that he won't go out like this.

Like you said, Naruto and his homies still need a way out of the dimension. Perhaps after Kaguya is sealed, the dimension may start to collapse (in your other thread you mentioned the possibility of the castles containing parts of her consciousness, maybe if she is sealed those parts will dissapear, rendering the dimension unstable) or something like that. Maybe at that moment, Obito will use the final bit of his life force and chakra to send them back, in one last heroic action, and die peacefully.

Either way, he won't just be dropping dead next chapter. That's for sure.

I think he will die. It would be a anticlimactic if Naruto keeps saving people. Personally, i don't like Obito but it did make me tear up cuz them damn Narufeels
