Obito said Rin was his ray of light , without rin every thing was like hell to him , then why the hell he did not try to bring her back to life.
Obito was one of the people with largest knowledge about so6p jutsu and also had access to rinegan so why did he use it for war when he could just bring rin back to life with it and a real rin not some genjustu.
I think this is most idiotic about his character

Well the problem with bringing a real Rin would mean she would still be in love with Kakashi. If you remember right after Obito 'died' as a kid Kakashi told Rin about how Obito felt and Rin was like "But what about my feelings for you" or something along those lines. I'm guessing he really wanted to be with Rin and not just protect her or watch her from afar (because he seemed pretty obsessed with her) so he wanted to be with her in the Dream world where he could make her love him back just like he did, and maybe Obito also wanted to be Hokage in the Dream world as well something he wouldn't be able to do now that he's gone down this path.

Deep down, Obito knew Rin wouldn't support his change of heart. He didn't have it in him to face her.

First of all bringing rin back wouldn't do any good since the world is corrupt in his view and he didn't have rinnegan at the time.. he only had access to the rinnegan a while after she was dead.. and to revive someone that has been dead for a while it'll probably cost the rinnegans user his life.

Maybe that time has to do with the soul still being around or passed on.. but also rins body is decomposed.. the people that nagato revived where revived in their original body so only some wounds needed to be fixed.. for someone that's been long dead to be revived probably the body of the user will be used or a completely new body has to be generated which takes a lot.

He had the power of Rikudo Sennin, he was the strongest character aside from Rikudo Sennin yet didn't do jack shit and got defeated by Naruto and Sasuke...
Funny thing is, even Hashirama said how Obito (back when he was mindless) was stronger than him and that he alone could make a barrier, that took 4 Hokages to make, indicates that he's stronger than all of them. His speed and everything was superb, but then Kishimoto striked and every chapter made him weaker and weaker and weaker, even after his second transformation he still got weaker and weaker, and didn't do any country-wrecking attacks like the Juubi itself did.
