Just think about it half of the Obito's body was crushed under the rock and white zetsu took over half the body for him to live....
What if banana part of Obito's body was also crushed..And you know that could be the reason why rin's death affected him so much cause he knew he can never get another girl with half of the banana he had...
Rin would've understand his situation because she knew he was crushed but other girls won't..
