I believe he is in a Genjutsu. So anything Kakashi "thinks" he did is probably nothing more than an illusion. Otherwise Obito would have died by now with a chidori to the heart. I think he still has one and Kakashi is on to something but of course Obito won't have it.

Also, when Minato hit him with a rasengan! he does feel pain. I think he just meant "emotional pain"---i.e. he has no real heart.

he's a liar! minato hit him with rasengan and he was incapacitated after it---leaving minato to take care of the kyuubi.

Also, I think the meant "heart" by feelings, I.e. caring about rin, kakashi, the dream of hokage etc. So obito has no emotional heart. Otherwise I think they are in obito's dimension! he did bring them in there. But I think with kakashi's eyes he can actually manipulate the reality---they are the same eyes after all. =D

It's not wise to assume Kakashi's in a genjutsu. First off, that's literally the first thing Kakashi would suspect after being dragged in. Second, I'm not sure Obito can do that. It's basically the same thing as Obito trying to cast a genjutsu on himself. I'm sure he could put him under genjutsu in another way, but the sharingan will easily help Kakashi get out of it.

The only logical explanations would be, the life energy from Hashi's dna was enough to sustain life in him. As most of his body is mokuton. Or Kakashi did turn his heart to crisp, and Obito shall be dying shortly. :heh:
