Lets recall the legend that is Obito....

1. Saved his rival's life twice. And ended up being crushed by a boulder.

2. Took out a entire group of elite Mist Ninja, was able to us his MS masterfully upon awakening, and using mokuton effectively.

3. Created the akatsuki, manipulating them and the entire world.

4. Became the second coming of the sage.

5. Survived several fatal blows high diff

Even in a weakened state Obito's will to never give up overcame all odds. He was able to survive things that would normally have killed most people. it is fitting that Obito dies on his own time rather than by someone else's. He chose his time of death, and how he would die. One of the most epic ways to go, sacrificing yourself to save a dear friend.
Obito has proven to be one of the few legends of the series. Kamui solos ur fave. RIP Obito

His life wasn't a lie, he had real friends, and real goals, he was manipulated however, given his emotional state and the curse of hatred, he was easy picking, plotshield couldn't help him there. But he has one of the greatest plotshields, nearly on par with Naruto and Sasuke

Obito caused way more death and despair than Madara, Obito's focus was causing as much emotional trauma to everyone as he could,
He killed thousands with his mokuton/juubi combo, and killed more by sprouting the Shinju while Madara was just attacking anyone in his way.

People will definitely remember Obito, especially those from Konoha.

Can you think of a way Madara could counter Kamui, or how Sasuke BEFORE he got a power up from Hagoromo could avoid Kamui?
