I suggest you don't refer to me directly. Oh yeah, that's true. What I do wonder is, where in the manga does it imply that Ino-Shika-Cho (first generation) were older than Minato?

Nothing. It's only that i felt like it. Shikaku seemed to know Minato personally during the Kyubi's attack and they were shown participating in missions together. They even had children at the same period(Choji and Naruto for example), so i suppose they are from the same generation, and since Minato was the genius of the generation, i think he advanced faster. Jiraya even said he became Hokage in the blink of an eye.

Anyway what is the key point for me is not even that. The key point is Jiraya. Like i've proven with my timeline, at the very least Jiraya was 26 when he became Minato's sensei(Minato was 10). That means the difference is 16 between the 2. We know Jiraya was 50 at the begin of the manga, and Kyubi's incident happened 12years before, so during Kyubi's attack, Jiraya was 38. Since the difference is 16, it means that Minato was 22.

Even if you don't believe in my timeline and that you believe Jiraya was older than 26 when he became Minato's sensei. Lets say he was 30. It would mean that the difference between the Jiraya starting to teach Minato and the one at the begin of the manga would be 20years. Since Minato was 10, it would also directly imply that Minato would have been 30 at the start of the serie. 12years before during Kyubi's attack, he would have been 18. So like you can see, greater Jiraya's age can be, smaller Minato's age is, which would make no sense whatever

What I like to assume is that Kishimoto, at a certain point, said f*ck the timeline.


- Guy and Kakashi couldn't have possibly been in the same Chunin exams. Guy graduated the academy when he was age 7 and Kakashi became a Chunin at age 6. Guy is older.

- Obito was not very much bigger than Kakashi at the time of his "death".

- I honestly don't believe that a 9 year old would've been in charge of a squad entrusted with such an important mission.

- And last, but not least, 10 year old Rin was in love with a 6 year old Kakashi. Seems a bit far-fetched XD

Omnipotent? Never knew xD And no, Minato can't be older than 25. Shikaku, Choza and others were 25 during Kyubi's attack and they are supposed to be older than Minato
He was 4 when the war was ending, not in Kakashi gaiden. I believe the war lasted more than 4 or 5years. So the Kakashi gaiden event happened when Itachi was 0. So when Kakashi was 9 during Kakashi gaiden, Itachi was 0. When Itachi was 4 like you say, Kakashi was 13

It's never implied that Itachi was 4 when the war was ending. Anyhow, it could be twofold; either Kishimoto has messed up the time-line or Obito simply failed repeatedly, which is backed by his continual perseverance.

It's possible. It was never said Kakashi and Gai graduated during the same session. The academy test happens 2 times during the same year. We know Gai is 8months older than Kakashi. Just imagine if Kakashi was 5years and 11months when he graduated, it would mean Gai was 6years and 7months at that moment. Like i've said, i don't think they graduated during the same session. Gai probably graduated during the session after that happened on the other half of the year, which would make the Gai graduating at 7 when Kakashi graduated at 5 believable

They were kids, at a age where the size can be very variable from one child to another. Just look how huge Itachi was at 13

It was never said directly, but pretty sure it is the case. During Kyubi's attack, there was no war and at that moment Itachi was 5, which means the event where 4years old saw people dying happened only 1year before(probably even months before). That already shows that Itachi witnessed all that when the war was ending since months after during Kyubi's attack, we see the village was stable again

I really want to believe this since it makes more sense. But when I check their ninja registration number, the numbers were not the same. So, if they graduated at the same time then the numbers should have been more or less the same with the only difference of the last two digits.

Yeah it's what i think as well. At least it's the only way that the timeline could really be accurate. Concerning Minato's age, i also start to find it weird, but not for the same reason as you. What i find weird is that if Minato was really 22 when he died when Kakashi was 14, it means there is 8years of difference between the 2. So when Kakashi and Obito became genin(respectively at 5 and 9), Minato would have been 13, which i find too young especially judging by his appearance in the FB, but on the other side, wasn't Itachi also huge for his age? So who knows?
