I want him to stay evil. But then again...he looked so regretful when he was listening to Hinata's speech, I think he'll turn to the good side again or at least die regretting what he did. Whether or not he's 'good' or 'evil', imo, he's a good guy. He's desperately trying to change the world, but unlike naruto, his way of doing so is extremely questionable. Plus, Obito is trying to do so by using a 'short cut' by forcing everyone to go into a fantasy where no pain exists.

If he stays evil, he'll remain my favourite villain of the manga. If he turns good, then I'm okay with the idea that Obito had some sort of closure. So it's a win-win situation for me.

Preferably, if Kishi does play the 'good'-card, then I would rather have another Itachi (an anti-hero all along) than another Nagato (180 degree turn).

I agree that he needs to die, he is a horrible villain imo. He seeks vengeance for the death of Rin who ends up being a spy anyway and I hope Kakashi kills Obito the same way he did Rin.

In that one scan as he's dumping on Naruto they show one pic of him holding Rin's dead body, as if he was remembering the sorrow he felt and was trying to make Naruto feel the same sorrow of lose. I think Hinata snapping him out of it was a key point to Obito's eventual face turn
