If the manga hasnt already made it clear obito is not a prodigy nor was he intended to be. The reason for the past few chapters is to show how obito is A COMPLETE DIFFERENT PERSON. This is because he is AN UCHIHA AND MADARA'S SUBORDINATE not because he is a prodigy but because he has been trained and brainwashed by the most powerful and vicious shinobi to date.

I've recently noted an interesting thing.
1) As we well know, not every Uchiha even awakens Sharingan.
2) After being awakened, it has 3 phases which are changing over time due to the training: 1 tomoe, 2 tomoe, and the final phase for almost every Uchiha - 3 tomoe sharingan.
3) Sasuke, the one of few prodigies of the Uchiha, awakened his Sharingan with 1 tomoe in one eye and 2 in another, later developing it into 2 tomoes in every eye.

And the most interesting part begins here.

4) Obito awakens 2-tomoe Sharingan, skipping even 1-tomoe phase, shortly before his "death"
5) Look closely at this page of Manga. The part where he slowly opens his eye. If you watch it carefully, you'll note there's a 3 tomoe eye. His right eye, not the one which he transplanted later.

So it seems like he's awakened fully developed 3-tomoe sharingan in no time. Isn't it the proof that he is indeed an Uchiha prodigy, on the same level as Itachi at some point, or even better? What do you think?

I agree with Obito awakening his Sharingan with two tomoes, skipping the one-tomoe step. That was a good feat imo.
And about him having 3-tomoe Sharingan at his encounter with Madara, I'm still not sure. Let's just wait for the next chapter and see.

Well, I do not insist on anything, it's just a consideration The only thing I still 100% deny is that the eye on the picture is left.

What OP says is that it is the right eye (red square), which is totally wrong, those eyes make no sense. It has to be a left eye (green square).

i also thought of it beeing Obitos Eye, because we do not know the angle of his head at this moment. In the left picture it is kinda irregular and not straight so it could feel like beeing Obitos Eye~ It aint that important~
