Obito fufilled all the requirements to unlock the rinnegan

Madara's chakra = Indra's chakra

Hashirama's chakra = Ashura's chakra

Obito Uchiha will return and he will def get a powerup

Whether that be rinnegan or susanoo or both, we just have to wait


PS: Black Zetsu mocked Obito here saying that he is not worthy to wield the rinnegan, well that might change

Also when Obito was fused with Hashi's DNA, Hashirama was already dead at that point. Ashura's Soul and Chakra migrated to Naruto.

So Hashi's DNA no longer contained Ashura's chakra.

Obito knows about ashura and indra and how they transmigrated to Naruto and Sasuke, he could of easily took Sasuke's chakra when he implanted his EMS and he could of easily took chakra from Naruto when he gave him the Kyuubi.

Obito wanted Naruto and Sasuke to fight each other because "faith had them next in line". He knew full well that Ashura and Indra are inside Naruto/Sasuke.
