Obito from The beginning?

So did kishi intend to make Obito the main antagonist from the moment we saw Kakashi with a sharingan? Like in episode 8 of part 1?

Or along the way he made him Obito?

I would imagine that at the very least, He had decided to have Tobi be Obito from the beginning. Whether he had decided that right from the start, that Obito would be a villain (or even still alive) is anyones guess.

I agree with this this. If anything I think he probably was originally going to go with just Madara, but then as the story developed he felt more Inclinded to choose Obito when he introduced Tobi I'm guessing so that it wasn't just one villain and he could play around with some plot twists an all.

I don't think he planned for obito to be a villain. He definietly planned for Obito to give his eye to Kakashi since he had a Sharingan in the begining of the series.

I just scanned through the pages...I didn't see Obito or Tobi even mentioned in this issue. I thought Tobi's 1st apperance was after the timeskip after the rescue Gaara arc when they had to replace Sasori as Deidara's partner.

Not sure what you are referring to in the issue you provided. Did I miss a panel or something :wut:


EDIT: oh I just found what you were referring to. Though I'm not sure if this was the point Kishi decided to go with Obito though I'm not saying you are wrong here.

Think so. We've seen Kakashi vaguely referencing his character from very early on, and he was introduced just in time for the start of Part 2, so I think the plans were there from the start.

True most characters fell into despair and turned bad, but obito was the most like naruto, pretty much was a naruto uchiha, but unlike naruto when bad things happened to him he went dark.
