The reason why i say this is because he did used to be itachi's master not only that but the reason why i say that obito not having a heart is nothing but genjutsu is because if i remember correctly when sasuke and itachi fought sasuke pierced what he thought was the real itachi through the heart with the chidori spear but it was just a genjutsu and the real itachi was unharmed so basically i'm saying that obito is doing the same cause remember obito was on the floor then there was a close up of his sharingan(something that i've noticed happens when an uchiha uses genjutsu on someone) and all of the sudden he's stood up and apparently kakashi pierced him through the heart leaving a hole where his heart should be also notice how before this obito says to kakashi "are you trying to convert me?" oh and before i forget whilst it's still fresh in my mind i believe that the reason why obito DID use a genjutsu on kakashi was to not only make kakashi think he pierced him through the heart but also to try and convince kakashi that he can't be saved/converted since he has no heart also this could be obito's way of saying he has no feelings like when someone is called heartless for being mean or whatever to someone but anyways it's pretty much obvious that it's a genjutsu cause why did it show a young kakashi piercing rin?.
