Obito did not want to become Hokage JUST to get over Rin!!

I guess since Obito is the most powerful shinobi since the Rikudo himself, people are just finding anyways to bash him.
But as you can see from this scan right here..

Becoming Hokage was clearly his goal from the beginning. He's basically saying once he achieves his dream of becoming Hokage then the girls will be the least of his worries, not "I'll become Hokage JUST to get over Rin." Some of you guys are ridiculous.

And if I'm not mistaken wasnt Jiraiya's motivation to become a strong shinobi, just to get girls? And I don't see people complaining about him, the level hypocrisy and double-standards within the naruto fanbase is unbelieveable.

Yeah but the whole "Infinite Tsukuyomi thing" was imposed on him because of Rin's death. The Obito in the 2nd scan would never agree to such a thing, but after she died at Kakashi's hand well, that's what sparked everything.

Oh yeah I agree I'm not defending his motivation for infinite tsukiyomi (which I don't mind too much btw) just his reasoning for wanting to become Hokage.
