Obito/Deidara Question

Everybody remembers Kakashi using Kumai on Deidara's arm, correct? So by doing this, Kakashi sent his arm to another dimension. The same dimension that Obito can travel too since he shares a Sharigan with Kakashi. What I am getting at is that Obito could of retrieved Deidara's arm for him. Deidara ended up getting a replacement arm or am I remembering incorrectly? So my question is this... Where did it come from? Did anybody ever question this? Could that have been a hint the entire time as to who Tobi was? Just a thought.

Deidara had a small portion of the middle of his arm ripped, which was replaced by Kakuzu, hence why it's a different colour than his actual skin colour when he fights Sasuke.

Obito wouldn't retrieve that arm because questions would be raised even by Akatsuki members and Itachi was still alive so I think Obito was really wary of doing anything that could give hints to his true identity.
