Well basically, After learning Kakashi and rin were attacked by hidden mist shinobi, eventually, rin dies by mist ninjas, obito blames it on kakashi, which is why now, he hates him, but moreover, he sees that it were shinobi of the mist, who ultimately killed Rin...

So in time he would repay his vengeance to them, by controlling the mizukage, and started the bloody mist era, having the mist killing each other, to be worthy or something, my theory.

YES we see Obito grow hair here, but the picture you are showing right now is 100 % after the 9 tails attack on Konoha, which can only mean 1 thing, Obito cut his hair afterwards:

But it does confirm that his hair grows really fast, probably cause he has senju body now.................... But it confirms nothing.. Don't get me wrong, I have no doubts. The one Itachi approached to help out with the massacre and the one controlling Yagura was Obito as well, but these things was after the 9 tails attack.

Everything people call plot holes can be answered with common sense I am fed up of people calling them plot holes.
