Obito controlling the nine tails?

Last time I remember, the manga said that the Mangekyo Sharingan can control the nine tails but seeing this really makes me wonder.

How can Obito control the nine tails with just a normal Sharingan?

Its bcause he's half Hashirama, those senju cells probably make it a lot easier than just dojutsu alone, and plus, obito has a mangekyou just in case it isn't enough
