I think people over look this part too when talking about obito's suffering rin died. She was not murdered in cold blood she chose death she loved her village that she chose death rather than see what might have happen if she had gone back she died a hero protecting the place she loved where she shared lots of happy memory's. obito clams he loved her so much but he is trying to destroy the very thing she gave her life to protect isn't that ironic.
That isn't the point of Obito's plan. The fact that she had to choose to die, just so others can live, the fact that some people are sacrificed for others as if human life weighs different amounts. Rin died to protect the very system that caused her to die, Obito sees that as unfair. As Madara and Obito say, it's a causal relationship that cannot be avoided, and if it is something set in stone in this world, why not change it in another?
