No he can't gdfo. Manga panda has had some bad ass mistranslations in the past but never anything that bad. If he could he would've used kamui instead of using up chakra to shield himself with the black stuff. And on top of that I read manga stream and manga panda both each week to compare the differences. I can't find the manga stream chapter but it did say the same thing or something similar.

obito can use kamui to send other objects to a different dimension but cant use it on himself to get transparent
