So, this is going to be me posting my first thread here after a looooong time, but...
I just have to.

Most of you all think Obito still cares about Rin and is willing to revive her.
If he really wanted to revive her, why didn't he do that from the get-go? He had the ability.
No, he chose not to, because this reality that they live in isn't worth Obito's time, he wants the sage's power to create a new reality, without the use of the Infinite Tsukuyomi.

I don't think that Obito will revive Rin.

Discuss.

You need to re-read the manga and understand what it means by "Mugen Tsukuyomi"

Why would he revive her anyway? She is just a kid that validated that the world sucks back in the day. She is just his fuel in this whole war.

I agree with you. He just wants to change the world to stop things like he had experienced from happening in the future.

Wrong. Even in the last chapter, it seemed like Obito thought he was going to die and his last thoughts were about Rin. Of course he still cares about her, but no he is not able to bring her back. The only person who was capable of using the Rinne Tensei was Nagato, and they were planning on him using that to bring back Madara. Instead, Nagato used it to revive the Leaf villagers, and Madara was revived with Edo Tensei.

Even though he cared about her, and I'm sure he definitely wanted her back in the world, but above everything else, her death made him realize how cruel the shinobi world was. That's why his main goal is now Project Tsuki no me.

Yeah, I might've put the caring abit wrong. The point however is that he just holds on to that memory of her.

He can't use Rinne Tensei? Wasn't the back-up plan from Madara to have Obito use Rinne Tensei on him? So, he can actually use it. Then why wouldn't he use it for Rin?

Obito want Rin, but the Rin who will love her, and not the Rin who loved Kakashi, that's why he never revived Rin..

No. The plan was for Obito and Zetsu to befriend Nagato and use him for their plan unknowingly. Since he is an Uzumaki, and a descendant of the Sage of the Six Paths (Senju), Madara planted his Rinnegan into his eyes when he was a child. With the power of the Senju and the Uchiha, he would be able to use the Rinne Tensei, especially with his massive pool of chakra. That was the main plan, but it didn't fall into place, thanks to Naruto.

And again, above everything else, Obito hated the world they lived in. That's why he wouldn't have revived Rin even if given the chance. He would have rather created the Illusionary world of Tsuki no me, where there would be peace, and he would be able to see Rin.
That's why his priority was reviving Madara.

He don't wanna get his heart broke again. He don't want her to see his face. He don't want her to die again for the crap he is doing right now. Simple. Leave the girl dead.
