Naruto is exactly like DBZ. Death has no value anymore people coming back left and right alive or as zombies with infinite power. Mountains and landscape are being destroyed every two seconds bijuu bomb was originally cool now its an eye roll and a sigh. Unique powers of lesser characters that used to be important are 100% irrelevant. Like seriously the entire ARMY is basically yamchas and krillens!! They are on the side lines to look tough the alliance is fodder and have done nothing but gotten killed and needed to be saved by lesser characters to make them seem useful.

Narutos power up was needed because he had to fight MADARA who turned the series into DBZ dropping giant attacks from the sky blowing up mountains for no reason collision fireballs etc. naruto is no exception you just don't want me to bag on madara because he is cool and badarse. You only like him when he fights.
