Chapter 613 makes perfect sense, they both(Obito & Madara) jumped at it seemingly making a synchronized move but both were actually trying to assert their own control so the other wouldn’t turn the Juubi completely to their purposes. It’s not a question of being able to fully control the Juubi, it was more a question of not letting the other untrustworthy party get the prize all for itself. In a sense, Madara and Obito are now in a deadlock. Madara is stronger and could kick Obito out of the game but that would leave him unable to finish the moon eye plan and the Juubi would just got beserk and beat his immortal ass for eternity. Obito on the other hand could become the jinchuriki and end the world but Madara would not let him one up him so easily. I suppose Obito changed his attitude towards Madara because he realized the latter would be forced to agree to let him become the Juubi’s jinchuriki if the beast became too hard to control. I suppose that’s were Sasuke could fator in, Madara doesn’t know about him and if Sasuke comes back with a Rinnegan then Obito’s usefulness would outlived before Madara’s eyes.

I remember somewhere that Obito said that Sasuke was his ally and you can use Bogard's pic from where it says that he never considered Madara as a 'friend'. Might be foreshadowing something.

They aren't friends, although they are partners in a sense. Obito never really wanted to revive madara, that's the felling i get. You see.... They actually share different goals. Madara wasn't to destroy everything and become the strongest, wither as obito just wanted to live a life were everyone is happy, due to his genjutsu....
