Yes, but Nagato had a very different dream that he wished to become reality. If Nagato had wanted IT, then he would have tried to invoke IT.

That 'hidden secrets' argument is simple, not the way OP described...
Itachi is excellent at analysis, one of the best in NV... If Itachi had full intel on Obito, he might have developed a way to overcome it...
And that 'Konoha is no longer off-limits'; I think Itachi had a pact with him not to touch Leaf and something tells me that Obito was the stronger party and Itachi had to do this or he was in a disastrous situation...

The Manga scans of him saying all this shit about itachi then him seeing itachi eye and having a " oMG it can't be ,that's impossible , oh noo I shit my pants" ,look
Also you can hear the tone in his voice ( not from the gif of course)
It pretty much indicates that there was fear + shock.

So Obito's Kumai is no secret, especially when only four members knew that he was the creator of Akatsuki.

4. Obito never killed anybody with Kamui alone, look back in all his fights that have an objective to kill and not capture.
Kamui was the least of their worries.
B. Never posted that it was a versus thread, his secrets will leave more questions than answers.
But within those answers, the higher ups like Danzo or allies like Orochimaru will bring out the truth like Kabuto did.
