I have a quick question. In all the anime and manga, we have only seen TobI/Obito use a few techniques. Do you guys remember back when Tobi was talking to Sasuke and tobi tried to show Sasuke his ms?

My question is how did tobi put out the flames?

I thought that he may have used Izanagi. but then i thought back to when Tobi fought Konan and had to use Izanagi.

As you can see, he had to break his other side of his mask to use Izanagi. do you think tobi used izanagi while his mask was off?

i dont think he has Amatarasu so i was just wondering.

It was never stated which one it was, so it's up to Kishi to let the readers know. I always thought it was Izanagi, and I still do.

He warped it. If he slipped thru it or used izanagi, we'll have still seen black flames on the area. Furthermore to activate izanagi, it requires 5handseals, so like you can see it was not appropiate for that situation. It's simply logical that he warped it since kamui is a warping ability

The flames did not burn his clothes , he clearly used Izanagi.

The Databook already said he used Kamui.

The Databook can be wrong , because it follows the progress of the manga.
Izanagi wasn't shown yet when Obito survived Amaterasu.

If that were the case then Kishi wouldn't have stated it was Kamui, he simply could have simply said it was an unknown power, or a hidden power. It'd be odd for him to state it was Kamui in DB 3 but say it was Izanagi later on in a future DB.
