The President gives hundreds of speeches and collaborates with dozens organizations to bring awareness to climate change and no one gives a s**t, but then when he goes on an outdoor TV show to talk about it everyone loses their minds XD.

The problem is that people value personal entertainment over real issues so Obama knows he has to do stuff like this to get our attention. Bash all you want but when you think about it it's a smart move.

Nice try but whilst I was dealing with being sat on and having a loud annoying toddler yelling in my ear, the tv was on and I didn't think twice about making a post. Keep in mind I'm not one of you people that spends more than 20 minutes cleverly crafting a post for the sake of reputation, positive feedback and, mainly, to come across as an intellectual. All those awareness activities that officials join are just PR stunts at their core. Again; if the elite actually cared for anything other than control, they would easily solve the issue of climate change. Or make drastic changes at least. Instead, they do what they have been trained to do. Parrot about progression and change whilst doing the opposite.
